DUA of Prophet Zakariya (AS), Seeking Children (Righteous Heir)
وَزَكَرِيَّا إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُ رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ
rabbi la tatharnee fardan waanta khayru alwaritheena
Para: 17 (Juz: 17), Surah: 21, Ayat: 89
اور زکریّاؑ کو، جبکہ اس نے اپنے رب کو پکارا کہ “اے پروردگار، مجھے اکیلا نہ چھوڑ، اور بہترین وارث تو تُو ہی ہے“
And (We showed a favour) to Zacharias, when he invoked his Lord, saying, “O Lord, do not leave me childless though Thou alone art the best Inheritor“.
